About

Like  many Colombians I grew up with the smell of fresh hot chocolate cooked gently in an "olleta" with a "molinillo" (special jug and wooden whisker for hot chocolate).

For Colombians, hot chocolate, much like tea for the English,  is something  one  craves - something the body simply wants.

A cup of chocolate made from a scoop of powder and a  frothing machine could never quite quench this need.  My dream was to one day bring the Colombian way of drinking chocolate to London and share this rich and sensual  experience.

Towards the end of the pandemic,  I  found myself with a lot of time, much of which was spent dreaming about one day opening my own chocolate place. but there was no point in waiting, so I rolled up my sleeves and found a way to

collaborate with the magical Milagros Mexican Shop, which sells amazing Mexican art, glass, and tiles. And for the first time I was able to serve   my Colombian family recipe of hot chocolate to the Sunday flower market on Columbia Road.

â€‹â€‹At first the idea was to make hot chocolate for the pleasure of making it and seeing if other people enjoyed it.

â€‹The reception was incredible and very quickly my reputation amongst locals and visitors from around the world grew.

Today we are a rapidly growing family business expanding and developing our offer further.
